We need to take a moment to appreciate Timothee Chalamet‘s look at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards.
The Call Me by Your Name star hit the red carpet at the event held on Sunday (January 6) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
He turned heads in an all-black ensemble that featured a bedazzled harness (or as the brand calls it, an “embroidered bib”), finishing off his look with a perfectly styled hairdo.
Timothee brought his mom Nicole Flender along as his date for the night.
Timothee is nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his performance in Beautiful Boy as Nic Sheff.
“Here’s the thing, a lot of people in America are going through this right now, a lot of people my age are going through this too,” Timothee told E! News on the carpet. “Addiction is the biggest killer in America right now, it doesn’t discriminate across race or gender, it affects everyone. It felt like there was some honor in bringing that story to life.”
“Nic Sheff, who I play, in real life, is alive and well today, a day at a time,” he added. “These stories aren’t given, you know? I’m grateful that you saw it.”
