Comics including Bob Saget and Michael Che performed for the Scleroderma Research Foundation’s “Cool Comedy, Hot Cuisine” benefit at Carolines on Broadway.
Dave Attell joked of the perils of drinking by quipping: “One time I was drinking tequila, and I got hit by a parked car,” and “Where are the wine people? That’s a good drink! Wine. Nothing bad can happen. You just go home and give your cat a middle name.”
John Oliver mused of audience members who video events with their phones rather than enjoying the action live: “Later will be good for me. Later and smaller will be more convenient.”
