Wale has shared a couple of new tracks, “Winter Wars” and “Poledancer,” about three months after he released the five-track Free Lunch EP in September.
In “Winter Wars,” produced by Wallis Lane, Wale spits over a sample from Nas‘ Street’s Disciples track “Thief’s Theme.” The track also mentions Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Ebro and Kali Uchis, among others.
“Poledancer,” co-produced by J-Bo, features Megan Thee Stallion. Wale also shared a wild video that perfectly depicts the song’s verses.
Wale, who became the first rapper to open the State Of The Union, graced the stage with a performance before Obama’s final State Of The Union Address. He has over 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has reached over half a billion channel views on YouTube.
