A GRAN stuck in isolation has made her grandchildren an amazing kids kitchen using old pallets.
Taking to the Facebook group DIY On a Budget her daughter Fay Johnstone shared snaps of her mum Jac Johnstone’s handiwork.
Captioning her snaps she wrote: “My mama is super clever!
“She has made her grandkids a mud kitchen from scratch, using pallets! This is just 1 example of her many amazing DIY creations. 🛠
“She’s a DIY Queen & I hope to be as creative and as skilled as her one day.”
And it’s no wonder Fay was singing her praises with Jac’s creation sure to thrill her grandkids.
After building the frame, the gran had varnished the pallet to give the surface an oak feel before painting the edges with a chic grey paint.
The littluns have a basin each to play with mud and plenty of plastic tools so they can act the little chef.
Jac even had a wooden plaque made, inscribed with her grandchildren’s names.
Fellow group members were also impressed, praising the granny’s creation in the comments.
One wrote: “Brilliant, the kids love these.”
“Gorgeous” agreed a second, with a third adding, “Well done, it looks amazing.”
In other DIY news, this creative gran showed off the amazing covers she created for her radiators that didn't cost a penny.
