I walked out of the nail salon after the tech spent two hours glueing my tips on and STILL couldn’t get them right

A WOMAN was left so disappointed by the state of her nails after two hours at the salon that she ended up paying and walking out.

Campbell Puckett took to TikTok to share a story time about her experience, as she prefaced her tale by explaining that any kind of confrontation makes her "skin crawl".

"I went to a salon, I won’t name the name of it, but I needed to get to get my nails soaked off and I needed to get new nails," she said.

"I was thinking I would be there for two hours – I allotted two hours."

The nail tech started soaking off Campbell's nails, and seemed "sweet", although fairly new at the job.

"She starts gluing the tips on and I’m getting a little worried – the tips are going on really crooked – they’re not straight at all," she continued.

I’m a nail technician & there’s a VERY cheap way to get cute nails

I wanted to get nails with gems…They look terrible, I want to sue my nail tech

"And I said, ‘Are you gonna be able to straighten them out a little bit when you file them?’ And she was like, ‘Yes, no problem’. Cos they were crooked.

"I showed a photo of what I wanted, I just wanted almond-shaped, just kind of what these look like now."

While she started filing down the nails, Campbell added it "took literally 10 minutes to file one nail".

"Twenty minutes had gone by and only two nails were filed," she said.

"I’m getting worried… I don’t know what to do because I’ve already been here for like an hour and a half at this point and only two nails are filed and they look so bad.

"So as she’s trying to straighten them out they just keep getting shorter and shorter and shorter. To the point where you can’t really fix it at that point."

The other nail tech Campbell called over urged her to let the woman finish doing her nails, which she did.

"It’s now been two hours and the nails are just filed – there’s no colour on them, no dip or anything.

"So I just said politely, ‘Can I just pay you for what you’ve done so far and I can leave? I’m sorry, I don’t know if there was a misunderstanding or what."

She added that the nail tech charged her $10 (£7.60) and she even left her a tip "just because I felt like that was the right thing to do, and then I left".

In the comments section, the majority of people insisted Campbell had been far too generous by paying for her nails.

"You were WAY kind!! they shouldn't have accepted your payment!!!" one person write.
