The shindig was held at Anmer Hall, a plush ten-bedroom pile in Norfolk – AKA Kate and Wills ‘other’ home – but it came as a shock to most that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were nowhere to be seen.
Rumours that the royal couple had not been invited to the party fuelled speculation about the frosty relations between Meghan and Kate.
But according to Hello the Sussexes, who are expecting their first baby in the the spring, were actually out of the country on a secret holiday instead.
Their chosen get-away spot is currently unknown, though previous royal destinations have included Norway, the South of France, Jamaica and Botswana.
But it seems Harry and Megs might have missed out on a right royal knees-up.
On the guest list were some of Wills and Kate’s close-knit pals and godparents to the adorable mini-royals Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3 and Prince Louis, 8 months.
Lady Laura Meade and her husband James attended, as well as Kate’s old school friend turned interior designer Emilia Jardine Patterson.
Sophie Carter, another Norfolk friend, and her husband Robert also attended the meal – reported to be a Sunday roast.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George were pages at the couple's wedding last September.
