A Soulful Night

The event takes place on February 14, 2019 at The Jazz Café London from 7pm.

If you’re feeling adventurous, take your Valentine on a sky high date with Up at The O2.

Opt for the Celebration Climb package and head to the top of the world’s greatest entertainment venue.

This package sees the happy couple get a glass of Lanson champagne each to enjoy once they reach the viewing platform at the top.

Sunset Climbs, Twilight Climbs and Climb and Dine options – where you can combine your climb with dinner at a restaurant in the O2 – are also available and tickets are priced from just £36pp.

Cruising into romance

Forget Venice for a romantic canal boat ride – head down to Regent’s Park with your loved one for an intimate cruise down Regent’s Canal!

London Shell Co is offering a romantic two-and-a-half-hour dining cruise with seven-course seafood menu and optional wine pairing.

The £75 per head menu, inspired by the Best of British seasonal produce, will begin with a traditional aphrodisiac of oysters, followed by a range of incredible seafood dishes including truffled cod’s roe, salmon en croute for two to share and sea salt caramel truffles to finish.

Doors open at 6pm on February 14, and the boat departs at 7pm sharp.

Movie Night

The Luna Cinema is popping up at the Natural History Museum with six specially selected screenings across three evenings this Valentines weekend – February 14, 15 and 16).

Films on offer will include classic romances like Pretty Woman, The Notebook,  A Star Is Born and Love Actually as well as anti-Valentines movies like Kill Bill Vol 1 and Thelma and Louise for those couples who just want a night out without the fuss.

The films will be screened in the iconic Hintze Hall below the jaw-dropping 25m long Blue Whale skeleton.

Every guest will also receive a complimentary box of popcorn and access to the Natural History Museum’s Life in the Dark exhibition any time between February 14 and 24.

Floral Wonderlands

Head over to Kew Gardens in West London to celebrate your love among Colombia’s vibrant plant life.

Kew’s Orchids: After Hours will be held on Valentine’s Day and other selected dates available until March 8, 2019.

For £18 per person, you and your date can enjoy exclusive access to the tropical paradise of The Princess of Wales Conservatory after dark and wander amongst the vibrant displays of orchids after the crowds have left for the day.

There will be a live Latin ban and tropical fusion music to get you both in to the carnival mood, while authentic Colombian coffee will be on hand to keep you both warm.

Stroll through the Colombian street food stalls and enjoy some themed cocktails as you and your date make the most of the indoor party.

Under the stars

Enjoy a starry-eyed evening at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, including a planetarium show about the romantic sights the night sky has to offer.

Loved up couples will have a chance to do some stargazing through the 18-tonne Victorian telescope, and the romantic stargazing sessions include a hot beverage each to stay warm under the stars.
