HANDS up if you've ever opened up your freezer only to find some food buried that you'd completely forgotten about?

But the big question is…is it still OK to eat?
The truth is, many of us aren't aware of how long frozen foods should be kept in the freezer for before being consumed.
But one woman has taken to TikTok to reveal the clever markings she found on the inside of her freezer door that tell her exactly that – and it's blowing people's minds.
Kerrie Essex posted a video online where she can been showing off the educational information.

In the clip, she begins: "How good is this on my freezer?
"I never knew how long you should keep things in the freezer but it literally tells you.

"So pizza is 1-2 months, fish 4-6 months and chicken or any sort of meat 6-12 months.
"How good is that because I never know? I'm always like 'argh it's been in there months.'"

Karrie adds: "The fridge is from Currys!"
The post has since gone viral, racked up over 130,000 views and been inundated with comments.
"Christ I’ve got stuff in my freezer that’s been in there about two years," wrote one.
A second commented: "Wow I’ve had stuff in my freezer for years and still ate it and tasted the exact same."
A third noted: "That's pretty neat! I always separate my meats and label them!"
Meanwhile, a fourth penned: "Today years old when I found this out."
