As Jack Grealish’s girlfriend uses ‘witch box’ to heal relationship – how does it work?

Miles away from the world of designer labels and glitzy diamonds, Sasha Attwood has revealed that her favourite Christmas present came in the form of crystals and sage.

Speaking on her YouTube channel, the 25 year old told her 43,600 followers that her family had surprised her with her very own “witch box”.

The model, who is dating Manchester City footballer Jack Grealish, said: “My mum did it last year and it was one of my favourite things that I got. It was a self-care, positive kind of witch basket.

“She put sage in there, she got me some crystals, manifestation things. She knows that I love all stuff like that, so she did a whole thing.”

As part of the thoughtful present, the influencer revealed that she’d been given a range of different gifts including a crystal bracelet, a wellness journal, affirmation cards and some silk pillow cases.

“She also got me some Chakra chards, which teach you how to relax chakras, increasing lifespan, improving mental, emotional and physical wellbeing,” she explained.

As well as this, her mum gave her a variety of crystals, including a Rose Quartz necklace which is said to help foster loving relationships with others and improve feelings of self-love.

Other crystals included Moonstone which represents new beginnings and an amethyst which helps develop trust and understanding.

Another gift included a Selenite wand and can be used for spiritual cleansing, providing users with a sense of protection and clarity.

Given that the couple’s relationship has been rocky in the past, Sasha may be using the ancient power of healing crystals to help inject some stability into her love life.

Having previously admitted that she was a fan of the ancient Native American ritual burning sage around the house, Sasha’s witchy haul included sticks of white sage and Palo Santo.

Both are said to clean out bad energy and remove any bad spirits.

In fact, Palo Santo – coming from Incan tradition – translates as “holy wood” and has been burned as an energy ritual, capable of resetting energy that is tainted by negativity of conflict.

While there’s no scientific evidence that supports the use of crystals, the alternative medicine technique is said to tap into natural healing and create positive and healing energy.

And Sasha isn’t the only A-lister who has turned to the ancient use of healing crystals.

Earlier last year,Holly Willoughby revealed that she used crystals to reduce her son’s nightmares.

Speaking on This Morning, she said: “Chester sleeps with a bit of green fluorite and the last four nights it's disappeared down the back of his bed and he's had nightmares the last four nights.

“So I pulled the bed out and got it, last night he slept through fine.

“I know there's no science to this but that is something you go, well, if that helps, it helps.”
