Chinese takeaway creates Wham Bar Chow Mein which people say ‘should be illegal’

Ever torn between eating something sweet or savoury and just can’t decide?

If you’ve ever wanted to order a Chinese, but also wanted to chow down on copious amounts of sweets you’re not alone.

Well, in an usual twist, one takeaway has created a unique dish which combines Britain’s love for Wham bars and… chow mein, reports The Mirror.

Hmm, we’re a bit confused too.

A Chinese takeaway named Rice Bowl Derry in Northern Ireland now sells a “Whammy Bammy Chow Mein” on the menu.

It’s described as “soft noodles with Wham Bar” and… well, its exactly what it sounds like.

Would you try this dish? Let us know in the comments below…

Snaps of the £4.50 dish show pieces of the pink, chewy, sherbet-filled sweet bar cut into pieces and plonked on a tray of egg noodles.

The restaurant announced the bizarre addition to its menu on Facebook, claiming it was added by “popular demand”.

Although the comments below the announcement doubted this.

The post quickly went viral and not everyone was thrilled by the fact that the mash-up exists.

One dissenter said: "Seriously just what the f*** is the score here! This should be illegal to treat wham bars like this!!!"

A second wrote: "Not being funny but you’d have to be off your nut to demand this”.

And a third exclaimed: "Get in the f***ing sea."

But others were intrigued by the original dish.

One commented: "Just me thinks that looks class then?"

And another left a joking review, and said: "Tasty enough but the wham bar was overcooked, bit chewy."

The rest we'll have to leave out because they were a bit extreme…

But, we doubt the restaurant cares about the negative feedback as Rice Box Derry is used to controversy.

Earlier this year they ranted online about knocking on doors only to hear screaming arguments inside while they stood in the cold.

It wrote: "It’s hardly the TV licence man or NIE looking for Magnets at this time of night!

"This doesn’t apply to all my lovely customers (only a very limited number).

"So, if you don’t answer your door then I am going to stop knocking on your door & I am going to f****** knock it in."
