Today’s horoscope introduces some challenges between the Watery sign of Cancer and the Firey sign of Aries. The Moon and Sun are Squared and that means they are 90-degrees apart in the heavens. Squares can be troublesome to deal with because they block the natural flow of energies.
At their best, Squares will dampen this flow and the analogy could not be more apt today – Fire will douse the Water.
But there is a silver lining to this aspect, as with most things in life.
When you know a Square is waiting just around the corner, you can emotionally prepare yourself for what awaits you.
When you do that, you might even learn a valuable lesson or two from your predicament.
It is, consequently, advisable to enter this Square with a keen eye and open mind.
Astrologer Debra Silverman of Debra Silverman Astrology predicts today’s heavenly combination will introduce some conflict.
The Aries sign wants to fire you up and get you ready for the newly started spring season.
The Sun is joined by the Planet of Love, Venus also making a move into the Fire sign.

So there is a lot of passionate Fire energy raining down on you today.
However, Ms Silverman said: “But the Moon’s in Cancer – that’s Water.
“So that’s the Square, and whenever there’s a Square, it suggests tension.
“So Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, while the Fire is coming up, keep your hand on your heart.”

The Moon in Cancer doesn’t want you to get too excited.
Remember, the Moon governs all aspects of your life that represent the inner self.
And the opposite is true of the Sun – it governs your outer self and public expression.
So you can always expect to fee some internal turmoil or conflict when the two Sqaure.
Ms Silverman said: “So there’s a little bit of conflict, which is ultimately the reason why someone has a Square in their chart.
“It indicates a difficult childhood – if someone’s Sun and Moon is Squaring – but here’s the good news: if they learn how to use their conscious communicating, the upside of their intelligence, the ability to be kind to other people, the ability to stay away, then the tension becomes a motivation.”
This motivation will propel you to seek out therapy when needed or to go get your star chart readings.
The key takeaway is this: you are not supposed to be living in tension.
