Disneyland is known for being “The Happiest Place on Earth,” but with the rising cost of Disneyland ticket prices, planning a visit to the theme park can feel less joyful and more stressful. If you’re starting to budget for the trip, here’s what you need to know about ticket pricing.
For starters, the company has undergone several changes to its operations and ticketing management since closing to the public at the beginning of the pandemic, and the updated ticketing system is probably the biggest change of them all.
In February 2020, Disneyland introduced a tiered structure for one-day park tickets (which includes entry into either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park) and one-day park hoppers (which includes access to both parks on the same day).
Each tier contains a selection of dates for guests to book. (Tier 0 being the cheapest ticket up to Tier 6 being the most expensive.) The higher the tier, the greater the flexibility when booking. For example, Tier 6, the newest and most expensive tier, guarantees more flexibility by allowing visitors to schedule their trip on any of the viable days outlined in Tiers 1 through 6. Disney also introduced Tier 0 tickets in 2022, a one-day ticket for $104 per day that can be used during the least-crowded days of the year. (For more info on tiered tickets and blackout dates, visit Disneyland’s ticketing page.)
If you’re looking for multiday park tickets, there is no tiered system. Instead, there are set prices for two-day through five-day tickets. You can find the new Disneyland ticket prices for 2023 detailed in the chart below.
