Inside RHOC star Rachel Lugo’s home with stunning Christmas decorations and horse stables

When she’s not amongst the drama of the ITVBe reality show, Real Housewives of Cheshire star Rachel Lugo can be found relaxing at her stunning seven-bedroom home in Cheshire.

Complete with stables which are home to four horses and the most incredible Christmas decorations, the property developer certainly doesn’t do things by halves when it comes to her own abode.

Exclusively inviting OK! into her home, the 45 year old showed off her favourite features, from the gorgeous family room to her cosy cinema room.

Of her family room Rachel says: “I just love my family room. It’s the heart of the home, it flows into the kitchen and it’s got the beautiful beams and the open fire.

“It’s the one room where the dogs are allowed to join u n the sofa. It’s really cosy and the place where we all sit and watch TV every night. It’s where we spend all of time in the evenings.”

The festive room has been decked out with a pink Christmas garland, while a glittery pink reindeer decoration sits upon the fireplace next to the giant silver one alongside the TV.

A black and white photograph of Rachel’s five children – Francesca, 23, William, 21, Sophia, 18, Oliver, 15, and Sienna, nine – from when they were kids is on the wall above.

Rachel’s family room leads into the kitchen, which she says “adds that touch of glamour to what is really a farmhouse.”

The farmhouse was originally built in 1745, but Rachel has certainly put her modern touch on it, filling the kitchen with flowers, chandeliers, an AGA and black granite worktops.

“It took ten men to get this granite in,” says Rachel of her gorgeous kitchen.

Meanwhile, Rachel’s cinema room features a large comfy cream sofa, electric blinds and a projector screen, while mementos from her last three years on The Real Housewives of Cheshire sit above the grand fireplace.

But while the star says her kids love having sleepovers in the cinema room, she treats it as an escape: “I go in there when I want a bit of peace and quiet because the dogs aren’t allowed in there. We all end up in here on Christmas.”

Another favourite of Rachel’s is her bedroom – one of seven in her home.

“My bed is beautiful and I love relaxing up there,” says Rachel of the room, which features a mustard colour scheme and mirrored chest of drawers.

Downstairs is the reality star’s sun room, which is filled with beautiful oak beams and floor-to-ceiling windows.

In the corner sits a 15ft Christmas tree with fabulous pink decorations and a giant silver and white nutcracker statue.

Rachel loves the festive season and says it’s her “favourite time of the year”, so it’s no wonder she has five Christmas trees in total on display throughout her homer.

The sun room also offers viewers of Rachel’s stables, which are home to the family’s horses – Fifi, Phil, Cowboy and Willow.

Along with her daughters Francesca and Sophia, Rachel can often be found mucking out their four furry friends.

"She is my best show jumper so far," says Francesca.

"The girls, whenever they're missing they're always up here," laughs Rachel. "Just either riding or grooming them. This is their happy place. "
