The high street giant rolled out tons of great offers in 2017, giving customers the chance to snag a post-Christmas bargain.
Included in last year's sale was everything from fashion to fridges along with tons of homeware, tech and and furniture.
So bargain hunters had to a wide range of stock to search through before making their purchases.

This time around, we recommend writing up a list of items you're looking to buy in the sales and making a note of their prices now so you can spot a bargain once the prices start dropping.
It's also worth shopping around multiple stores as there's always a ton of sales starting on Boxing Day, so a bit of searching could save you a bundle.
What's going to be in John Lewis' Boxing day sale?
Tech
It'll be worth looking out for a cheap TV in the Boxing Day/January sales as the traditional window of cheap sets ends in January before starting again in the Autumn of 2019.
Plus if you're planning a January health kick, you should be able to find a deal on a health tracker such as a Fitbit.
Clothing
Menswear and women's fashion will both be heavily discounted in the sale, perfect for any late Christmas shopping or a bit of retail therapy.
Cooking
Everything from pots and pans to kitchen tech such as Kitchenaid mixers should be on sale.
Although it definitely pays to shop around with big brand items because several retailers will stock them.
Homeware
If you're looking for some new bedsheets, or a new bed to put them on, John Lewis should give you a couple of ideas.

How much does John Lewis postage cost?
Standard delivery is FREE for orders over £50 and anything less will set you back £3.50.
You can specify a time and date that you'd like your delivery to arrive but it will cost between £6.95 and £9.95 for small items and between £3.50 and £19.95 for large items.
You can also pick up your order from a local Waitrose or John Lewis store or a Collect+ point – this service is FREE for orders over £30 but will cost you £2 for anything under that.
