Despite currently working as a trio while Jesy Nelson takes time off for “private medical reasons”, Little Mix still put on an incredible performance on Sunday night’s Strictly Come Dancing results show.

Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall performed Break Up Song from their latest album Confetti – but it was the girls’ stunning new looks that really got people talking.

Leigh-Anne showed off a dramatic new haircut, embracing her natural curls but with a new choppy, 70s-style fringe cut in.

The singer is no stranger to experimenting with her hair, having sported everything from a short, sleek bob to super-long braids over the years, but this is the first time we’ve seen her rocking a fringe.

Leigh-Anne’s bold style was created by Little Mix’s long-time hair stylist Aaron Carlo. He posted a snap on Instagram, humorously captioned “Fringey Fred”. The post resulted in a stream of compliments – plus a comparison to another superstar singer.

“Reminds me of Whitney,” wrote one follower, referring to Whitney Houston’s trademark big, bouncy hairstyle.

And Leigh-Anne wasn’t the only Little Mixer serving up some seriously striking beauty looks at the weekend. Bandmate Jade Thirlwall matched her eye-catching feathered mini dress to some very colourful make-up. Her bottom lashes were lined with a bright blue shade, while her nails showed off a twist on the classic French manicure, with a different coloured tip on each finger.

And Jade joked about a surprising inspiration behind this look.

She posted a series of snaps to Instagram, including a hilarious photo of a dog wrapped up in a multi-coloured fluffy scarf – not entirely dissimilar to the Germanier dress she wore.

She also hinted that she may resemble a certain famous ensemble of colourful puppets.

“P.s. No Muppets were harmed in the making of this dress,” she wrote underneath the post.

It seems that Jade often enjoys poking fun at her glam beauty looks. Last month she compared a super-sparkly eye look to a meme of a little girl messily applying make-up.

Leigh-Anne and Jade aren’t the only Little Mix members to be switching up their hair and make-up a lot this year. Perrie recently wowed fans with a short, Barbie-esque bob, while earlier in the year fans were amazed when she shared a rare glimpse of her skin without make-up in a series of selfies.
