Queen Letizia of Spain looked the picture of elegance as she embarked on the second day of her two-day official state visit to Morocco on Thursday.
The royal, 46, wore a white trouser suit and a matching scarf as a mark of respect as she joined husband King Felipe, 51, in visiting the mausoleum of King Mohammed V.
Letizia and Felipe arrived in the country on Wednesday, and were welcomed with a lavish dinner party, hosted by King Mohammed VI of Morocco at the Royal Palace.

And on Thursday morning Letizia kicked off day two of her tour in Rabat, visiting the Mausoleum of King Mohammed V, who was Sultan of Morocco from 1927 to 1953, before his death in 1961, aged 52.
The mother-of-two opted for a fitted white buttoned blazer and matching wide-legged trousers, which she teamed with a pair of pale court shoes.

Their day follows a fun-packed evening of lavish celebrations following their arrival in the country on Wednesday.
Yesterday the Spanish Royal family were welcomed at a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Rabat.
The couple, who last visited the country in 2014, will also take part in official talks with the country’s monarch.
Speaking in 2018, Felipe said of the two countries’ relationship: ‘The relations between Morocco and Spain are strategic because we are neighbors who have shared concerns and who face common challenges and threats that we can transform into opportunities for close cooperation together with will and determination.’

Queen Letizia is mother to Princesses Leonor, 13, and Sofia, 10, with husband King Felipe, 50, who ascended to the Spanish throne in 2014.
Over the years Letizia, a former newsreader, has worked hard to promote causes she is passionate about.
These include education, innovation, rare diseases, and particularly in nutrition, working closely with the UN’s World Health and Food and Agriculture Organisations.
