Lidl to launch massive sale on baby toys, prams, high chairs and gadgets this week

PARENTS looking to stock up on baby items might want to head down to Lidl this week as it's launching a massive baby event.

The discounter's "Middle of Lidl" Baby Care promotion runs in stores from Thursday October 17.

You can't buy the items online but Lidl has teased some of the products we can expect and it includes everything from toys and clothes to prams and high chairs.

Plus, there are plenty of big baby brands too, such as Fisher-Price, My Babiie, Tommee Tippee and more.

But as this is a middle aisle promotion it means once the items have gone that's it – so you might want to go quick if you've got your eye on something.

We round-up some of the top deals below.

My Babiie Deluxe Baby Stroller

  • RRP: £89.99. Lidl price: £49.99 – save £40 (44 per cent) – view online

This collapsing Babiie stroller has been exclusively designed for Lidl by TOWIE star and mum Billie Faiers, so you won't find it anywhere else.

It has an adjustable back rest and footrest and includes a rain cover and cup holder.

Lidl says it's suitable for kids between 0 and 36 months, plus it comes with a one-year warranty in case anything goes wrong.

A similar Billie Faiers stroller costs £149.99 at Asda (delivery from £2.95) and £159.98 directly on (shipping is free), albeit in a grey chevron pattern compared to Lidl's blue version.

Chicco Pocket Snack High Chair

This portable high chair can be adjusted to three different positions and heights to adapt for different tables.

It comes in black and green and has a three point harness to prevent tots from falling out.

But Lidl isn't the only retailer offering the chair at this price as you can also snap it up from John Lewis and Boots for £19.99 and £20 respectively.

John Lewis charges £3.50 delivery or £2.50 click and collect, while Boots charges £3.50 or it's free to click and collect this item in store.

Kinderkraft Neste Baby Cot

  • RRP: £99. Lidl price: £79.99 – save £19.01 (19 per cent) – view online

This Kinderkraft cot can be used as a free standing cot, or you can detach the cot for travel.

It also attaches to your bed and comes with a two-year warranty.

Lidl's price is a good deal as a similar Kinderkraft cot on Amazon costs £89.95 (plus free delivery) and we couldn't find it cheaper elsewhere online.

This practical nine-piece kit is perfect as a gift for first-time parents or for travelling with your baby.

It includes a digital oral thermometer, a toothbrush, a brush and comb, scissors, nail clippers, two emery boards and an aspirator (a suction device).

John Lewis and Amazon are also charging £10 for the same sets – it's free delivery on Amazon but John Lewis charges £3.50 delivery or £2.50 click and collect.

Galt Soft Book

  • RRP: £5.99. Lidl price: £3.49 – save £2.50 (41 per cent) – view online

These fabric books, which are machine-washable, feature pictures with an activity or texture to explore.

They also comes with a handy link to attach to a pushchair, cot or car seat.

Choose from farm, garden, jungle or pets.

We couldn't find the exact same books sold elsewhere online.

But similar Galt soft books cost £5.99 directly from the manufacturer, plus £3.95 delivery for orders under £30 (it's free above this).

Lidl ran a huge baby sale last month too with discounts on potties and thermometers.

Another recent Lidl bargain includes its £50 cordless vacuum that looks like a Dyson but is £150 cheaper.

And for those who prefer to shop form the comfort of their own home, Lidl has revealed plans "to launch an online delivery service".
