Megan Mullally reveals designers won’t dress her for SAG Awards; Christian Siriano steps in

Megan Mullally may have been tapped to host the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards, but the “Will and Grace” actress says her red carpet options are limited.

Mullally, 60, took to Instagram to announce her hosting gig while simultaneously voicing her frustrations over a lack of designers willing to dress her for the event. Despite earning two Emmy Awards and four SAG Awards herself, the actress revealed “designers do not send me dresses.”

“Looks like i will be buying my dress online though, as per my usual, even though there is literally a 100 percent chance that i will be on camera, because I’M HOSTING IT,” she captioned an Instagram picture Friday.

Without the help of a stylist or free designer gowns, Mullally says she will continue to rely on herself to find a look off the rack – but even that comes with some snags.

“I’m online scrolling through the gowns sections of various websites- which i know how to do pretty well at this point- and then i tried to order something from Saks fifth avenue and they cancelled my order,” she continued, adding “oh, the glamor of it all.”
