Mum and daughter, 8, missing as police concerned for their welfare

Police are appealing for help to locate a missing mother and her eight-year-old daughter.

Sian Duili, 47, and her girl Aisha were last seen in Barry, South Wales, on Tuesday.

However they are believed to have travelled to the north of England and Scotland.

South Wales Police said concerns are growing for their welfare and officers are appealing to the public to help track them down.

They were believed to have travelled to the Cumbria area in the north of England, before heading into Scotland.

Officers said Ms Duili has links with the Newcastle and Swindon areas.

South Wales Police are appealing for help to locate the missing pair.

A police spokeswoman said: "It is believed that they have travelled to the Cumbria area, north of England, and then into Scotland.

"Sian has links to the Newcastle and Swindon areas."
