A mum-of-four has revealed how she lost 10kg and 53.5cm from her waist in 12 weeks by ditching her soft drink habit and making subtle changes to her diet.
Candy Warburton, 40, from Melbourne, weighed 83kg when she decided to take charge of her health and try and reach her ‘goal weight’ of 75kg.
Just 12 weeks later, Candy achieved her goal and took it even further.
She now weighs just 73kg, and feels more confident than ever in all aspects of her life.

While Candy had been following the results from Australia’s leading weight loss program the Healthy Mummy for a few years before trying it, it wasn’t until 2021 that she decided to embark on one of the program’s famous 12-week challenges.
‘I saw on Facebook that Healthy Mummy were hosting a new 12-week challenge and so I immediately signed up – it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,’ she told the publication.
‘I set my goals, which were to learn to exercise, indulge in a bit of self-care without the mum guilt, quit my soft drink addiction and drink more water.’

Candy now eats meals from the Healthy Mummy challenge app, including healthy pizza, which she makes with a wholegrain or cauliflower base (pizza pictured)
The 40-year-old swapped soft drinks for Healthy Mummy smoothies first thing in the morning and said her ‘go-to flavour’ is banana sundae, which is packed full of protein and keeps her full until lunchtime.
‘I am no longer addicted to soft drink. I drink my daily requirements of water and Tuesdays are self care days,’ Candy said.
She also takes the time to work out each day, and enjoys meals from the Healthy Mummy app like healthy pizza on a cauliflower or wholegrain base and spinach and feta gozleme.
‘They taste amazing, are quick when you work 10-hour days and best of all affordable,’ she said.
‘I still have my cheeky weekend drinks on the weekend and take out sometimes. If I can do it, so can you.’

She now follows a time-efficient workout that is under 30 minutes long most days, and eats from the app.
‘A lot of us want to know if it’s too hard to lose weight, or simply just a fad,’ she said.
‘I too was sceptical, but honestly the Healthy Mummy is not a diet, it’s a lifestyle.’
