Sexy gran trolled for dating bodybuilder – and says she can’t find an older man

A glamorous gran was bombarded with negative comments when she started dating a buff bodybuilder.

Alice Vasquez says trolls targeted her boyfriend Andre – and accused him of taking steroids.

The age-defying 40-year-old has since removed all traces of her partner from social media.

But in an exclusive interview with Daily Star Online, she revealed why she’s not going to let the haters hold her back.

  • Man, 48, kicked out of bars for snogging 22-year-old girlfriend vows to 'ignore haters'

  • Pensioner, 74, fuming as he catches 21-year-old wife in shower with another older man

Alice first caught Andre’s eye when he spotted her on social media.

They were then connected by a mutual friend and realised they have a lot in common.

The influencer was drawn to the bodybuilder’s love for fitness – and likes that he motivates her to go to the gym.

She told Daily Star Online: “The guy I’m currently dating he saw me on Instagram and he knew a mutual friend we both knew and she connected us.

“Even though we have a lot of differences, when it comes to lifestyle he has been the most motivating for me physically…

“We are both into health and fitness.”

The stunning gran isn’t surprised that she’s settled down with a man that’s younger than her.

She insists that it’s usually toy boys that ask her out, but she rejects anyone who is the same age as her daughter.

Alice explained: “He’s 34, I’m 40 – I still can’t get an older man. Young guys just like me…

“It feels really strange that at my age the only guys that have had the courage to ask me out have been really young – 24, 26, 27, 30.

“I can’t date anyone that is my daughter’s age!"

Alice is pleased that her family are so fond of her boyfriend.

She said: “All my grandkids love Andre – he’s like a big teddy bear!

“He’s 6’ft 6 and the kids love when he picks them up – they get so excited.

“When it comes to my daughter and son, they’re happy when I’m happy.”

But while the Instagram star’s loved ones are supportive of the relationships, internet trolls haven’t been so positive.

The social media personality was forced to delete cute couple pictures following the comments of cruel critics.

She recalled: “They were so rude! I posted Andre and had to take pictures down because they were so judgemental of his appearance and size…

“Most rude, insecure people that don’t understand what it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle are usually quick to judge and assume.

“I got tons of people asking why I’d date someone that does steroids. It’s a big stereotype to see someone his size and think it’s all fake – but he really is a sign of strength and discipline.

“I admire his dedication and his will power.

“You don’t know anyone’s story or what they are going through. Instagram is not all real life or the complete story.

“People really need to stop thinking they know your whole life from a portfolio page of picture and captions.”

It can’t be easy for Andre to read negative comments on his girlfriend’s Instagram page – and he doesn’t like the attention Alice gets from her sexy snaps either.

The gran explained: “He is very alpha mentality with old school values and ways.

“He respects my lifestyle but doesn’t really like the attention I get from showing off my body. He thinks I should be more conservative.

“He likes to think of himself as low key and conservative.”

Despite this, the couple refuses to let any social media hurdles hold them back.

Instead of dwelling on the opinions of others, the pair are working on a business venture together.

Alice hopes to launch a CBD company, as well as a wellness website.

She said: “Andre and I have business in common.

“He works in the CBD business now for many years and is making me some great connections in my upcoming line.

“Another great upcoming business I am working on is a website dedicated to finding your ‘path’.

“My brand is called @MediTate Create – Meditate – Heal…

“More to come on this – business has been very challenging but I will make it happen soon.”
