A dad was brought to tears by his son’s act of kindness.
Jamie Nyland, a YouTuber with 2.3 million followers, decided to pay off the mortgage on his father’s home.
The 24-year-old, from Gloucestershire, broke the news to his dad Richard while recording a TikTok video.
He walks into Richard’s bedroom and hands him the keys to the house, commenting: “I’ve just paid off your mortgage.
“I’ve just rung the bank and paid off every single penny left on your mortgage. You now own this whole house.
“You’ve worked your whole life and now you can retire.”
Richard sobbed and hugged his son, adding: “You’re the best son in the world you can have”.
And in another emotional twist, he went on to give the keys back to his son.
He commented: “It’s in the will. The house is yours – what’s mine is yours…
“I love you so much. You paid off my mortgage, I’ve put you in my will.
“You’ve retired me for life so I’ve set you up for life.”
The heartwarming video has garnered 357,000 likes since it was posted three days ago.
