These are the most sought after Halloween costumes including Squid Game tracksuits

Somehow we are back to that time of year where we start to think and plan for what to wear for Halloween.

Over the years we have seen less demand for vampires and witches and more of a focus on television or movie characters, as well as recreating some of our most favourite celebrity looks.

So after not being able to dress up and enjoy the festivities last year with no thanks to Covid, we have rounded up some of the best and most searched for looks for you to take some inspiration from if you're feeling a little stuck.

Squid Game might have only recently landed on Netflix but it has already become the most streamed show ever, so prepare yourselves to be seeing a lot more pink jumpsuits and green tracksuits roaming the streets.

According to Design Bundles, since the show started, searches for ‘Squid Game costume’ have dramatically increased by 8000 per cent.

Whilst you'll be seeing more of this, you can also expect to see people dressed as a Dementor, when in fact it's their take on Kim Kardashian 's Met Gala outfit.

Since Kim strutted her stuff down the Met Gala carpet back in September, fans have gone crazy for the look, causing a 9900 per cent demand for her questionable look.

If this is one that you're keen to give a go, all you really have to do is cover yourself from head-to-toe in black.

If you can't be bothered to source all the components separately, then get yourself this all-in-one bodysuit from Amazon and pop over this black t-shirt dress from H&M and then these affordable black court heels from New Look.

Another celebrity that has taken the world by storm this year for her incredible and slightly risqué looks is Megan Fox.

As well as her black sheer dress from the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, it was her completely see-through look from the Video Music Awards that got everyone talking.

If you're wanting to take on the daring sheer dress trend, make sure you have the right underwear for the job.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, another show that had everyone talking about last year is Netflix's hit show Bridgeton.

If you're wanting to contain your modesty to avoid being the latest topic on Lady Whistledown's newsletter, then channel you inner lady for the evening with this stunning blue dress from River Island and a crisp white cape from boohoo.

An oldie but goodie that you can definitely rely on a few people still wearing has to be the comic book icon Harley Quinn.

After the first Suicide Squad movie in 2016 was released, fans went crazy to sport the recognisable costume, so after the sequel was released in 2021, the love for the character was reignited.

Even the gorgeous Holly Willoughby sported the costume during her Celebrity Juice days.

Another movie that brought us all so many creative costume idea's for this Halloween is Disney's modern adaption of one of Disney's most scary villains, Cruella de Vil.
