Versace brings back Jennifer Lopez’s iconic Grammys dress

Jennifer Lopez doesn’t age — and neither does her style.

At Versace’s pre-fall 2019 runway show at NYC’s American Stock Exchange on Sunday night, the luxury label dug into its archives and resurrected the unforgettable green gown J.Lo wore to the 2000 Grammys, but in a brand-new print.

Modeled by Amber Valletta, the very same supermodel who debuted Lopez’s dress on the runway back in 1999, the new version features the exact same plunging neckline, up-to-there slit and see-through fabric, but in a multicolored heart print rather than the tropical leaves that covered the original.

J.Lo’s Grammy Awards look, of course, went on to become one of the most iconic celebrity red carpet moments of all time, sparking the creation of Google Images, inspiring parodies aplenty and making the rounds in museums around the world.
