ARSENAL are ready to capitalise on Chelsea's transfer ban, reports Il Messaggero.

The Gunners are in desperate need of a defender and hope to persuade long-term Blues target Kostas Manolas to make the switch to the Emirates.

Manolas was the hero in one of the most famous nights in Roma's history last season, scoring the winner against Barcelona.

SHKODRAN MUSTAFI has been offered to AC Milan, according to Il Milanista.

“There was a bit with Arsene Wenger and the crowd. The atmosphere was like nothing else.

“The Stoke fans were really up for it, they generated a great noise and Arsenal hated coming to the Britannia.”
