ARSENAL and Manchester United have been put on red alert after Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars confirmed Hakim Ziyech will leave in the summer.

The Moroccan international won the club's Player of the Year award for the second season running after helping his side win the domestic double.

Ziyech, 26, has chipped in with 21 goals and 24 assists in 49 games this campaign – including a fine strike against Tottenham in the Champions League semi-final.

Scouts have regularly watched the ex-FC Twente ace in action this term, with Bayern Munich linked with a move for the player to replace Arjen Robben.

It has been claimed that the Bundesliga side have already made contact with Ziyech's representatives over a summer switch.

Speaking of the Dutch youth international, Overmars said: “He leaves when a top club comes.

“He is in focus because of his achievements in the Champions League.

“Many big clubs are buzzing around him. We promised Hakim [that we would] agree to a good transfer.”

AC MILAN are reportedly plotting a summer move for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi.

The Italian club need a new centre-back this summer and could go for the German.

Genaro Gattuso looks set to lose experienced head Cristian Zapata at the end of the season.

The Colombian, 32, is out out of contract and is not set to be handed an extension.

And with Zapata on his way out, that leaves just three first-team centre-backs at the San Siro club – club captain Alessio Romagnoli, Mateo Musacchio and Mattia Caldara.

So, according to Calciomercato, AC Milan have identified Mustafi as a transfer target.

And the news will surely come as music to the ears of many Arsenal supporters.

Since his £35million arrival from Valencia in 2016, the German World Cup winner has struggled to convince many in England.

WOLVES are reportedly swooping to try and poach Salomon Rondon from Newcastle.

The Venezuelan loanee, 29, was named Toon's Player of the Season after a brilliant campaign on Tyneside.

Rafa Benitez is a huge admirer of Rondonv – who has a £16.5million release clause – and wants to keep him.

But the club have not yet made an offer for the 11-goal striker, with Mike Ashley needing to sign off a summer budget.

Wolves have already splashed out £30m on club-record signing Raul Jiminez.

But money is not a problem for Nuno Espirito Santo, especially after a superb season finished with his side seventh.

WILFRIED ZAHA has “unfinished business” at Manchester United and would consider an Old Trafford comeback, according to reports.

Crystal Palace are demanding £100million for their star, who returned to Selhurst Park from Manchester for just £6m in 2015.

Zaha has told Palace that he wants to quit in order to play Champions League football next season

And United are monitoring the Eagles star's situation, with Red Devils coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – who worked with him at Cardiff in 2014 – a big fan of the winger.

And according to the Telegraph, the interest is mutual as Zaha would seriously consider a return to Old Trafford.

The Palace hero revealed last month he felt “belittled” in Manchester, accusing then-United coach David Moyes of trying to “destroy his career”.

The Ivory Coast international was Sir Alex Ferguson's last signing before retiring from football in 2013.

    EXCLUSIVE

WOLVES and Newcastle are tracking Spezia striker David Okereke.

The 21-year-old forward has caused a stir in Serie B this term hitting ten goals and 12 assists in 30 games as his side chase promotion to the Italian top flight.

Scouts from all over Europe have been sent to run the rule over the Nigerian forward who came through the Spezia academy to make his senior bow three years ago.

SunSport have been told the West Midlands side and the Magpies are weighing up summer bids.

But the pair face stiff competition from Inter Milan who want to offer Okereke the chance to make the step up to Serie A if Spezia do not get there via the play-offs.

Okereke has another three years to run on his current deal in Liguria.

However, the Serie B side will be resigned to losing their top scorer if they are not promoted and will demand at least £8million for the highly-rated forward.

Crystal Palace had a look at Okereke in January but opted against making a move mid-season.

After making Raul Jimenez’s loan move from Benfica permanent for £30m last month, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is looking for an understudy to the experienced Mexican striker.

Toon chief Rafa Benitez wants Salomon Rondon to stay on Tyneside long-term after his successful loan stint but will want a viable alternative in attack even if the West Brom striker stays on.
