QPR are in talks with Spurs to take Jack Clarke on loan until the end of the season, according to reports.

Football Insider state that Queens Park Rangers are set to beat a host of clubs, including Celtic, to the winger's signature.

Tottenham signed Clarke from Leeds for a fee of around £10m in the summer but immediately loaned him back to Elland Road as part of the deal.

However, Clarke has been out of favour under Marcelo Bielsa this season and waited until November for his first league appearance before being recalled.

Jose Mourinho has asked Daniel Levy to bring in TWO strikers this transfer window, according to The Independent.

A deal for Krzysztof Piatek is said to be close, but the Special One believes one striker alone will not provide sufficient cover for Harry Kane.

A number of agents have been very keen to do business with Spurs, with Christian Benteke among the strikers offered to the club.

The report adds that former striker Fernando Llorente has also been offered to Tottenham, just six months after leaving for Napoli.

A move for Edinson Cavani, however is said to be out of the club's price range.

Mourinho also reportedly wants a centre-back and a midfielder.
