But on the transfer front, a permanent move for Dani Ceballos is looking less likely than previously, with the midfielder now said to prefer a move to Real Betis.

    Arsenal have taken a blow in their bid to bring Dani Ceballos to the Emirates on a permanent deal.

    According to Estadio Deportivo, Ceballos knows he will leave Real Madrid this summer and would be open to a move to Arsenal.

    However, the midfielder's preference is a move to Real Betis.

    Ceballos spent six years with the Seville-based club before moving to Real Madrid in 2017.

    Lukas Podolski has revealed what went wrong for him at Arsenal.

    The 34-year-old told FourFourTwo: “I didn't get enough game time.

    “I felt that I performed well and didn't get the minutes I deserved.

    “On the other hand, if you look at my stats, I played in about 80 matches and was directly involved in a lot of goals by scoring or assisting.”

    Arsenal have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Victor Osimhen from Lille.

    According to Le Quotidien du Foot, the Gunners are the latest club to indicate their interest in the 21-year-old.

    But the report claims Lille could demand a fee of £89million for the forward.

    Manchester City, Spurs and Real Madrid are also said to be keeping an eye on him.
