    KEEPING IT REAL

After yesterday's nightmare result, Jurgen Klopp is scouring the market for alternative keepers.

Liverpool are reportedly in contact with Tottenham Hotspur over a possible deal for Paulo Gazzaniga.

Alisson Becker could be out for up to six weeks and Adrian's performance against Aston Villa raised a lot of eyebrows.

    GIFT FROM GOD

Everton's signing of Norwich's Ben Godfrey could be confirmed as early as this morning, according to reports.

The Toffees have swooped with a whopping £30m deal for the centre-back as they look to strengthen at the back.

The Premier League pace-setters are also expected to see a number of outgoings today.

Fringe players like Theo Walcott, Mohamed Besic and Yannick Bolasie have been linked with moves away.

    NO DEAL

There'll be plenty of action in the boardrooms today, as clubs desperately push for the signature of transfer targets.

But, there are a few deals that are unlikely to get done before the 11pm deadline.

The Red Devils have been chasing Jadon Sancho's signature for some time, but are not prepared to stump up Borussia Dortmund's asking price.

Chelsea want to wrap up their summer of spending by securing Declan Rice's signature, and are prepared to throw money at the situation, but West Ham are insisting the defender is not for sale.

    RA-Y OF HOPE

BREAKING: Leeds have agreed a deal for Rennes winger Raphinha, reports say.

The Yorkshire club have been chasing the wide man for several days and have struck a deal for an unknown fee, according to Sky Sports News.

The 23-year-old still has to undergo a medical but the deal does appear to be getting closer as the club race to get it over the line before 11pm.

    WHAT'S THE DEAL

While some clubs are more in need of new recruits than others, here are a handful of deals that could go through today.

Xherdan Shaqiri could be set to leave Liverpool, after Jurgen Klopp hinted at his departure.

Manchester United are reportedly on the brink of bringing experienced Edinson Cavani to Old Trafford.

But they're also eyeing up Ousmane Dembele and are trying to secure his services on a long-term loan deal.

Tottenham have rejected two offers of loan deals from Paris Saint-Germain for Dele Alli, but if they come in again with a bigger offer, Daniel Levy may be unable to turn it down.

Antonio Rudiger has been left out of the last few matchday squads at Chelsea, but he has caught the eye of fellow London club Tottenham.

    READY TO GUO

Matteo Guendouzi is having a medical ahead of a Hertha Berlin loan move, reports say.

The Arsenal outcast has not appeared for the club since June and has only recently returned to training with the first team.

Manager Mikel Arteta appears ready to ship him out and Herta Berlin are close to securing him on a season-long loan, according to Sky.

    ALLI UNCERTAINTY

What does the future hold for Dele Alli on deadline day? It is one of the many uncertainties of what should be a frantic 14 hours.

Tottenham have reportedly rejected two loan bids from PSG for their midfielder, who has allegedly fallen out with boss Jose Mourinho.

He did come off the bench in Spurs' thrashing of United yesterday – but his time jumping in and out of the squad in recent weeks does not suggest much confidence from his manager.

It could be one of the big stories before the window slams shut at 11pm.

    SAINT NO POINT

Southampton are hopeful of landing one or two players on loan today – but they will not sigh Ruben Loftus-Cheek, reports TOM BARCLAY.

Chelsea are prepared to farm out the England man but his wages are too rich for Saints' blood.

Plus with yesterday's arrival of Ibrahima Diallo for £12.7million, Ralph Hasenhuttl feels he is now well covered in the central midfield positions.

But speaking on possible incomings, the Austrian said after the 2-0 win over West Brom: “We are still hoping to get alternatives in one or two positions. We must have a look.

“I think it will be an interesting 24 hours. We know we have some issues in some positions and if we can get the right package, we are still looking to get another player in.”

    ON HOLD TRAFFORD

Jadon Sancho is back in England and can complete a deadline day move to Manchester United – if the Red Devils can finally agree to a fee with Borussia Dortmund.

The Three Lions winger, 20, could be in trouble after being filmed at Tammy Abraham's surprise birthday party in clear breach of coronavirus rules.

The FA examined footage – in which Sancho can be seen singing with a mask around his chin – and said there will be no change to the England team at this stage with the squad to meet-up on Monday.

Despite the drama, Man Utd will be buoyed by the fact their top target is in the country.

His mere presence in the country makes any potential deadline day deal all the more simple.

The Old Trafford side have been chasing Sancho all summer.

    DONE DEAL

Everton flop Moise Kean has joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan after scoring just two Premier League goals for the club.

The Italian forward, 20, has struggled for form at Goodison Park since move to England last summer.

But Kean will now spend the rest of the season with the Champions League runners-up, replacing Edinson Cavani and Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting, who both left on free transfers this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti was reluctant to let Kean leave for his former club, but said he wouldn't stand in his countryman's way.

Kean has found the net twice this season in the Carabao Cup – against Salford and Fleetwood.

But the forward has found himself out of the first team in the Premier League, with red-hot Dominic Calvert-Lewin leading the line.

    EXCLUSIVE: 3 LIONS ON ALERT

England stars Ben Chilwell, Tammy Abraham and Jadon Sancho have been filmed attending a packed birthday party ahead of today’s squad meet-up.

The footballers were in a gathering of about 20 friends and family, clearly flouting strict Covid-19 laws.

With all three due to play against Wales on Thursday, it is feared they have put the national team in jeopardy.

There seemed to be little social distancing at Saturday’s surprise bash for Abraham’s 23rd birthday.

The party at his London mansion came just 36 hours before the trio report for England duty.

One reveller said: “It was a great party. We wanted to do something nice for his birthday. But maybe we didn’t think it through.”

    GOOD MORNING FOOTY TRANSFER FANS

Everton star Moise Kean has completed a season-long loan deal to PSG.

The Italian forward, 20, has struggled for form at Everton, but will now spend the rest of the season with the Champions League runners-up.

Carlo Ancelotti was reluctant to let Kean leave, but said he wouldn't stand in his fellow countryman's way if he wanted to leave.

Kean has found the net twice this season in the Carabao Cup, but has found himself on the periphery of the first team in the Premier League.

The deal to take Kean to Ligue 1 does not include the option for a permanent move.

While West Ham could be about to lose Robert Snodgrass to Celtic.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has reportedly made an inquiry about a loan deal or a cheap buy for the former Scotland international.

Snodgrass has played in Carabao Cup games this season, however, he is deemed surplus to requirements for David Moyes.

In Europe, Bayern Munich's search for a winger may have come to an end.

Reports in Italy and Germany claim that the Champions League winners have agreed a loan deal with Juventus for their fromer Brazilian star Douglas Costa.

Bayern were in the market for a wideman, having a £70million loan move for Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi rejected over the weekend.

Moise Kean has completed a season-long loan deal to PSG.

The 20-year-old forward who has struggled for form at Everton will spend the rest of the season with the Champions League runners-up.

Boss Carlo Ancelotti was reluctant to let Kean leave, but said he accepted that if he wanted to leave to get some more game-time, he wouldn't stand in his way.

Kean has found the net twice this season in the Carabao Cup, but has found himself on the periphery of the first team in the Premier League.

The deal to take Kean to Ligue 1 does not include the option for a permanent move.

    HAMMER BLOW

Celtic boss Neil Lennon wants lifelong fan Robert Snodgrass from West Ham in a deadline deal.

Lennon has made an inquiry about a loan deal or a cheap buy for the former Scotland international who could move before the window shuts.

Snodgrass has only played in Carabao Cup games this season but has looked sharp and is also able to play down either wing.

However, he is deemed surplus to requirements for David Moyes and could be set to move.

    'I AM CONFIDENT'

Mikel Arteta is confident that Arsenal win be able to finalise some deals before the transfer deadline day on Monday.

Speaking after the 2-1 win over Sheffield United, Arteta revealed: “I am confident we know exactly what we want to do. We are trying our best to finalise the deals. Let's see what happens. I cannot comment [on players]. At the moment there is nothing definite.

“I cannot discuss the players we want. We recognise certain positions we are short in numbers and

    quality.

“I'm really happy with the players that I have, that is my job. Whatever we can add, of course, we will try to do it but we have to be realistic.

“It's a give and take. Whoever jumps on the boat will be welcomed. We all share the same ambitions, we have a clear direction.”

    WILLIAM TELL

Fulham and Leeds are both in the running for Arsenal defender William Saliba, according to reports.

The 19-year-old has yet to feature for the Gunners, who also added Brazilian centre half Gabriel Magalhaes to their squad in the summer.

Both promoted clubs are looking to strengthen their back line.

They'll be looking to test Arsenal's resolve by offering them a deal for the French U21 international.

    CLAIR-ING THINGS UP

Barcelona youngster Jean-Clair Todibo is the talk of the town in West London.

Fulham are ramping up their interest in the France U20 international who only joined the Catalans from Toulouse in 2019.

In his short spell at Barcelona, he has only managed 5 appearances before heading out on loan to Schalke in the second half of the season.

Fulham hope to bring him to Craven Cottage before the end of the window and according to reports from Sky, the deal is going to amount to £18.1m

    TELL YOU WHAT

According to Max Bielefeld, Alex Telles to Manchester United is a done deal.

After having two bids rejected, a final settlement of around £18m was enough for Ole to get his man.

The Porto left-back is expected to complete his medical in the UK tonight.

    'IT'S EMBARRASSING'

Gary Neville has slammed Manchester United’s recruitment again this summer.

The former Old Trafford full-back told Off the Ball: “I just don’t think they’re smart enough and wise enough and agile enough in the market.

“They’re being outwitted in the market by the other clubs and if you lose recruitment you don’t win the league, it’s as simple as that.

“You can have a great coach but if you don’t get the right players you’re not going to win the league.

    “The Sancho thing is embarrassing.

“It’s been going on now for fourth months. It’s embarrassing, that.

“And then to put a bid in that gets rejected, the smart clubs, they have deals sorted behind the scenes, the agents are working hard, club officials are agreed on things and when the bids goes in it gets accepted, it’s done.”

    CHO-SEN TO STAY

Lampard wants him and he doesn't want to leave which has given Bayern no choice but to end their pursuit in Callum Hodson-Odoi.

An injury to Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane has forced them to go out and search for a temporary replacement which was identified in CHO, but he has chosen to stay.

Both Chelsea and Bayern München considering Callum Hudson-Odoi deal OFF. No agreement on loan with buy option, the player doesn’t want to leave, Lampard counts on him. Confirmed. He’s staying. ? cfcbayern are now closing on Bouna Sarr from OM, and Marc Roca is coming. ?

WHEN IT'S ALL SEAD AND DONE

Since the arrival of Kieran Tierney, Kolasinac has noticeably been pushed down the pecking order for that left side of defence position.

Arteta has sometimes decided to even play winger Saka as a makeshift left back ahead of him.

This has raised serious questions about his future at the club and further speculations have circled as Sead Kolasinac has been left out of Arsenal's matchday squad altogether.

German outfit Bayer 04 Leverkusen are on the hunt for a new left back and could dip into their Kai Havertz kitty to bring the Bosnian to the club .

According to Kicker, the 27-year-old would like to return to Germany for 'private' reasons.
