Emma Raducanu vs Aliaksandra Sasnovich – French Open LIVE: Stream, TV channel and score from Roland Garros

EMMA RADUCANU is back in action at her first French Open.

The Brit was forced to draw on all her reserves of energy and spirit to overcome Roland Garros junior champion Linda Noskova in round one.

But she will have to be in top form to overcome her next opponent, who has already beaten her once before.

Belarussian national Aliaksandra Sasnovich secured a crushing 6-2, 6-4 victory over Raducanu at the Indian Wells Masters last October – the Brit's first match after winning the US Open.

    Raducanu* 1-2 Sasnovich

So far on serve in these early stages. No break point chances.

Sasnovich is positioned 47th on the WTA world rankings list.

So if Raducanu wins today it will be the highest-ranked opponent she has beaten since a win over Greek Maria Sakkari (18th) in the US Open semi-finals in September 2021.

    Raducanu 1-1 *Sasnovich

A promising opening from Raducanu who holds her first game and looks to be sliding well.

It will be interesting to see if the wind causes an issue.

Czech teen Linda Noskova timed the ball beautifully in the first round and though Raducanu prevailed, it was a tough test.

Sasnovich is a proper hustler and will be an awkward customer.

    Raducanu* 0-1 Sasnovich

Sasnovich opens the match by holding her serve in a comfortable game.

Raducanu is standing quite a distance behind the baseline to receive.

It is cool at the moment but it could be quite windy according to the forecast today.

If that happens, then the red clay will blow around the court.

    So, we meet again

This is the second time that Emma Raducanu has faced Aliaksandra Sasnovich on the WTA Tour.

The pair meet at Indian Wells last October and Aliaksandra Sasnovich won 6-2 6-4.

To be fair, it was Raducanu's first match since winning the US Open and she admitted afterwards that she had to cut herself some slack.

    Sasnovich will serve first.

    Here she comes

Emma Raducanu is now on court, clutching her mobile phone and carrying her mobile phone.

She is wearing the same outfit that she wore in the first round.

It is a beautiful spring day in Paris with the temperature about 16 degrees.

    The City of Love

Emma Raducanu spoke after her first-round win over Linda Noskova that she was falling in love with Paris.

The atmosphere on court for her victory over the Czech teen was electric and she enjoyed the noise and passion.

It will be interesting to see how the crowd take to her if she progresses.

Of course, it is a 11am start here in France so unlikely that there will be decent crowds.
