Glum Man Utd stars arrive to training with no smiles to be seen after shocking Wolves defeat and poor run

MANCHESTER UNITED stars arrived at training with faces like thunder on Thursday.

The Red Devils are reeling after they ushered in the new year with a woeful 1-0 loss to Wolves.

Mood in the camp is said to be at rock bottom with interim boss Ralf Rangnick battling mutiny in the dressing room.

And it was clear to see the squad had little to smile about as one by one they pulled into Carrington.

Club captain Harry Maguire pulled up his hood as he arrived to rehab the knock he picked up against Burnley last week.

Talisman Cristiano Ronaldo hid his eyes behind the sunvisor after deputising for Maguire in the Old Trafford shocker on Monday night.

His position at the Theatre of Dreams has been called into question by club legend Andy Cole.

The veteran striker suggested Ronaldo’s massive presence at the club is overshadowing fellow Portugal international Bruno Fernandes.

And the playmaker certainly looked out of sorts as he reported for training after starting on the bench against Wolves.

Rangnick has a huge task on his hands to breathe some life into his lacklustre stars.

Reports suggest as many as SEVENTEEN first-team players are looking for a route out of the North West in the current transfer window or in the summer.

One man who is leaving at the end of the month is executive vice chairman Ed Woodward.

He will hand over to new chief exec Richard Arnold on February 1.
