Northern Colorado sophomore Alisha Davis on Saturday was named the Big Sky’s women’s basketball most valuable player and earned a spot on the all-conference first team.
The 6-foot-2 forward led the conference in points (17.1) and rebounds (10.1), and was second in blocks (2.3) and fifth in steals (2.0). The former Grandview High School standout also earned three conference player of the week awards throughout the season and received the College Sports Madness’ Mid-Major Player of the Week in January.
Davis is the only Bears player to be honored by the league.
