NORTH BAY, Ont. – Jason Robertson secured himself the Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy as the Ontario Hockey League’s top scorer on Sunday with a three-point outing.

Robertson scored once and set up two more as the Niagara IceDogs downed the North Bay Battalion 8-3 on the final day of the regular season.

The 19-year-old ends the campaign with 117 points in 62 games to finish four points ahead of North Bay forward Justin Brazeau, who also had a goal and two assists on Sunday.

Bradey Johnson scored twice for Niagara (44-17-7) while Ben Jones, Ivan Lodnia, Philip Tomasino, Akil Thomas and Elijah Roberts had the others. Stephen Dhillon made 34 saves for the win.

Brazeau produced his league-leading 61st goal of the season as Matthew Struthers and Brad Chenier also scored for the Battalion (30-33-5). Christian Purboo turned away 32 shots in defeat.


MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Cole Schwindt scored his second goal of the night at 18:04 of the third while adding two assists to lift the Steelheads over Barrie.

Alan Lyszczarczyk also had a pair of goals, Nick Isaacson scored and Jacob Ingham kicked out 25 shots for Mississauga (32-29-7).

Aidan Brown, Ryan Suzuki, Riley Piercey and Tyson Foerster found the back of the net for the Colts (26-38-4). Kai Edmonds made 37 saves in defeat.


OTTAWA — Sasha Chmelevski scored a hat trick and Austen Keating added five helpers as the 67’s cruised past Kingston.

Tye Felhaber and Graeme Clarke had a goal and two assists each while Marco Rossi, Lucas Chiodo and Merrick Rippon also scored for Ottawa (50-12-6). Cedrick Andree made 13 saves for the win.

Adrien Beraldo, Ryan Cranford and Ian Derungs replied for the Frontenacs (14-52-2). Marshall Frappier combined with Brendan Bonello for 45 saves in a losing cause.


SARNIA, Ont. — Calvin Martin scored the winner at 3:43 of the third as the Sting doubled up Flint.

Hugo Leufvenius, Jacob Perreault, Colton Kammerer, Nolan DeGurse and Anthony Tabak also scored for Sarnia (28-33-7). Ethan Langevin stopped 18 shots for the victory.

Cody Morgan struck twice and Ty Dellandrea had the other for the Firebirds (16-46-6), who got 40 saves from Emanuel Vella. Centre Hunter Holmes was ejected for blindsiding at 11:52 of the second.


SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Zack Trott had a pair of goals and Ethan Taylor made 29 saves as the Greyhounds toppled Saginaw.

Jordan Sambrook, Tye Kartye and Drew Wawrow also scored for Sault Ste. Marie (44-16-8).

Tristan Lennox kicked out 47 shots as Albert Michnac and Camaryn Baber scored for the Spirit (45-17-6).


OSHAWA, Ont. — Allan McShane had two goals and three assists, and Brandon Saigeon chipped in with four helpers as the Generals beat Sudbury.

Serron Noel and Brett Neumann had two goals apiece while Anthony Salinitri and Nando Eggenberger also scored for Oshawa (44-20-4). Kyle Keyser made 28 saves for the win.

Darian Pilon and Jack Thompson hit the scoresheet for the Wolves (43-20-5). Jonathan Lemaire combined with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for 31 saves in a losing effort.
