COLIN TIZZARD has given Reserve Tank the green light to make his chase debut.
The double Grade 1 winner could have stayed over hurdles for the season but Tizzard has eyed up the Chepstow novice chase won by the likes of Cue Card and Native River.
It's the news jumps fans have been waiting for and Tizzard said he made the decision after Robbie Power schooled the horse on Thursday.
Tizzard said: "We’ll run him at Chepstow next weekend. Robbie Power came over and schooled him yesterday and he looks like a chaser already.
"Horses like him are rare, he’s already won two Grade 1s and as tempting as it was to keep him over hurdles, Cue Card, Native River, Finian’s Oscar all went to that Chepstow race and went on from there all as five-year-olds.
"That’s where I think we’ll go and Robbie rides for those owners anyway so it all works perfectly."

The full Colin Tizzard stable tour will be available from tomorrow as Sun Racing gears up for the jumps season.
The five-year-old sprung a 20-1 shock at Aintree in the Grade 1 Mersey Novices' Hurdle before franking that run in style at Punchestown.
He beat the exciting Sams Profile by half a length and Power will continue to ride as often as possible for Tizzard heading forwards.
Tizzard added: "He’s going to keep coming over as much as possible when there’s no racing in Ireland."
The Venn Farm trainer was reluctant to go into long-term plans before Chepstow was out of the way.
He said: "We’ll take Chepstow in first and go from there, there isn’t much more planned just yet and I don't want to get ahead of myself."
