The Masters continues on day three at Augusta National with Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas among the leading quartet on nine under par.
First on the course at Augusta are the final groups from round two, who had to pause yesterday as the fading light stopped play. Among them is Hideki Matsuyama, one shot back from the leaders with three holes to play, and Jon Rahm, the Spaniard who is also one shot back but has six holes left to play in his second round including some real birdie opportunities.
Rory McIlroy’s recovery has put him back in with a fighting chance at -3, while Tiger Woods is at -4 and Phil Mickelson is at -5. Four Englishman are in the mix too, with Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose and former champion Danny Willett all at seven under par, and the overnight leader from round one, Paul Casey, at six under. It was a troubled second round for Bryson DeChambeau, however, who struggled to keep his ball in play yesterday and is in danger of missing the cut after falling back to +1, with six holes still to play in his second round.

KISS OF DEATH
Before the tournament, DeChambeau claimed the Augusta course was a par-67 for him thanks to his enormous drive – five shots under what the course actually is.
Three-time Masters runner-up Greg Norman thought there was some sort of karma as a result.
He said on BBC Radio Five Live: “I think Bryson’s kiss of death was when he said Augusta is a par 67 for him.”
One of the key headlines is the erratic play of US Open winner – and pre-Masters favourite – Bryson DeChambeau.
His four birdies yesterday were offset by four bogeys and a costly triple-bogey at hole three – after he lost his ball.
The big-hitter will resume his round with a putt for an eagle at the par-five 13th hole.
