Tottenham winger Nkoudou set to join Monaco on loan until end of the season

The Tottenham winger has failed to make any impact at the club since arriving from Marseille two years ago.

The 23-year-old had a brief loan stint at Burnley last season.

However, he struggled to make an impression at Turf Moor starting just two games for Sean Dyche’s side.

Nkoudou was brought in from the cold by Mauricio Pochettino this month featuring in the dramatic late win at Fulham and started the FA Cup defeat at Crystal Palace.

And Pochettino has already seen enough with a loan deal agreed with the French strugglers for the winger until the end of the season.

SunSport has been told the deal is a straight loan with no permanent summer switch agreed.

New Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim back for his second stint in charge at the Stade Louis II after Thierry Henry’s disastrous four months in the hot seat.

And the Portuguese coach is desperate to bolster his squad before Thursday’s deadline.

Nkoudou will undergo a medical and complete the formalities on the move in time to be in the squad for Saturday's home game with Toulouse.
