Training Ben Davison has revealed the Gypsy King ensured the underlay was swapped for a harder material after finding it too bouncy.
It’s claimed the softer underlay would have prevent Fury from making the most of his speed and movement.
And it’s reckoned it had been a plan all along by Deontay Wilder’s team to give the American another advantage at home.
Unfortunately for him, Fury and his men are already wise to opponents playing games.
The British ace also changed the underlay in the run-up to his 2015 win over Wladimir Klitschko in Germany.
And Fury was clearly in no mood to allow Wilder the softer ground in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, it’s been revealed Fury will make his first UK appearance since the fight TONIGHT.
Fury will be present at Old Trafford to watch Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Arsenal.
Being a die-hard Red Devil, Fury will be hoping this bout also doesn’t end in a draw.
