THE final tennis Grand Slam of the year takes place at Flushing Meadows in New York.
Novak Djokovic is bidding to win all four Slams in the same calendar year and would be the first man to do since Rod Laver in 1969.
Djokovic has already won in Australia, France and at Wimbledon this year – but did miss out in Tokyo at the Olympics, where Alexander Zverev won gold.
The Serb, who is level with Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal on 20 slams, is the big favourite but Daniil Medvedev is likely to be a contender at 4/1.
Andy Murray is a long-shot at 66/1 with both Federer and Nadal missing out.
On the women’s side Serena Williams looks well-priced at 11/1 and Coco Gauff can be backed at 12/1.
Aussie Ashleigh Barty is the favourite at 7/2 with Naomi Osaka 5/1, while Olympics gold medallist Belinda Bencic is 25/1.
