Apprentice Marianne says ‘derogatory’ scenes with Ryan-Mark were cut

Marianne Rawlins has opened up about her time on The Apprentice and revealed a shocking scene showing Ryan-Mark make a number of rude remarks about the client were cut from the show.

The American entrepreneur was the latest candidate to be sent packing after her re-mixed song fell on deaf ears.

Discussing what went on behind the scenes, the TV star admitted a number of altercations never made the final edit.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, she discussed her fraught working relationship with Ryan-Mark, and her portrayal on the show.

Discussing the editing process, Marianne said: "Last week, they cut out Ryan Mark's comments about the client.

"So Ryan-Mark was being, he was basically insulting the client by referring to them in a derogatory way.

"He was saying in disgust how common they are, and things like that."

Marianne went onto explain they edited out the shocking scenes, but the producers decided to keep in her reaction.

"My response to that was what you saw, which was me saying 'maybe you're a bit disconnected from the target demographic.'

"They only showed what I said which made me look incredibly abrasive and classist, frankly.

"I didn't like that," she added.

"That wasn't a true context of that conversation. There was something that caused me to say that."

The Apprentice continues on Wednesday on BBC One at 9pm.
