BBC Breakfast: Charlie and Naga rectify incorrect reporting
BBC Breakfast presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt were shocked when a furry guest jumped onto their laps and nestled between them on the latest instalment of the show.
The pair were joined by Vicky Etherington from Apollo’s Angels and a “beyond cute” dog named Hugo.
However, the interview descended into chaos when the pooch leapt over Naga’s knee to sit himself down between her and Charlie.
“There you go, he’s going his own way,” Charlie exclaimed as the sweet canine got cosy.
“This is Hugo, and he thinks he knows this is it,” Naga quipped.

Charlie then joked: “I think he’s trying to work out which camera is which.”
The interview sparked a fan frenzy on social media, with one viewer tweeting: “@TVNaga01 I’ve just seen Hugo the dog and it’s put a smile on my face.
“He clearly liked you and when he climbed over you to get to Charlie too, I ahhhhed and smiled even bigger.” (sic)
A user called Divine Doll added: “Hugo squeezing himself between Naga and Charlie #BBCBreakfast.”

Dee remarked: “Aww Hugo wants Naga and Charlie @BBCBreakfast @TVNaga01 #BBCBreakfast.”
Susan quipped: “How are they going to get him off the sofa?”
Another penned: “By the way Naga – watching the dog sitting between Charlie and yourself this morning was beyond cute!”
“He looked so comfortable sitting with both of you. Thanks to you all for a great start to my day,” Caz shared.
The moment comes weeks after their co-star Carol Kirkwood was climbed on by several puppies while delivering a weather report.
The golden retriever pups tried to playfully bite Carol’s hair so she had to tie it in a bun to keep it away from the pooches.
