New Netflix drama Lost Girls is based on the true events following the disappearance of Shannan Gilbert.
What begins as a routine search ends up turning into the hunt for a possible serial killer.
The series is based on the non-fiction book, Lost Girls, by Robert Kolker which delves into the search for the Long Island serial killer and the lives of the suspected victims, including Shannan.
Birdman actress Amy Ryan plays the part of Shannan's mother Mari Gilbert.
Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness
Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness follows the life of a man called Joe Exotic, who ran a sanctuary for rescued tigers, lions and bears in Oklahoma.
He spent two decades playing the part of a local celebrity and called himself, The Tiger King.
The seven-part documentary series focuses on the growing feud between Joe Exotic and animal activist Carole Baskin.
Viewers will witness the bizarre, "gay, gun-toting cowboy with a mullet" (as he refers to himself), show himself to be a more sinister character as he hires a hitman to kill Carole Baskin.
This British mystery thriller is based on the book by Harlan Coben of the same title.
There are eight episodes in total and they are all available to binge watch on Netflix.
Its all-star cast includes The Hobbit's Richard Armitage, Jennifer Saunders and Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Antony Head.

Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J walker
This inspiring four-part series chronicles the real-life pioneering work of Madam C.J Walker who became America's first black female self-made millionaire.
She is played by Golden- Globe winning actress Octavia Spencer, who's best known for her roles in The Shack and The Help.

This action comedy film will have you whisked into the criminal underworld of Boston.
Mark Wahlberg stars as Spencer, an ex-cop and ex-con who has been released from a five year prison sentence for intervening in a domestic dispute and assaulting his superior John Boylan.
When Boylan and another officer are murdered on the day of Spenser's release, he pairs up with Hawk, played by Winston Duke, to try and solve the corrupt case.
The film is an adaptation from the novel, Wonderland by Ace Atkins.
The Letter For The King
This new series is a medieval fantasy drama based on the same title 1962 novel by Dutch author Tonke Dragt.
There are six episodes in the Netflix series and are all available for viewers to binge-watch.
The Letter For The King is set against a backdrop of war between the kingdoms Dagonaut, Unauwen and the region of Evillan.
Viewers will see young squire Tiuli, played by Dark Materials actor, Amir Wilson, take a perilous journey to deliver a message to the king.
