The former I'm A Celebrity contestant appeared on This Morning where he underwent a grilling from hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langford.
Stanley shared his delight in Boris's appointment and shared his hope that the new PM would be able to solve Brexit issues.

The 78-year-old explained that he was heading to Australia to spend time swimming with whale sharks.
'Well I saw him when it was announced, but then he went straight to Downing Street and he’s been very busy since," Stanley said.
He added: "I'm going to Australia, I’m going to keep my head down."
Ruth then pushed: "You say you are 'keeping your head down', are you worried you might say something that might affect the situation?"
Stanley hit back: “I'm not worried on the contrary…"
