Brendan Morais has released a lengthy statement apologizing to Natasha Parker for his behavior on Bachelor in Paradise and explaining why he removed a post that many believed was super insensitive.
To recap this week’s BiP real quick, it became clear that rumors Brendan and Pieper James had been dating pre-show were true, and that Brendan had been lying to Natasha about their relationship. At one point, Brendan even told Pieper, “We have to have each other’s back. It has to be you and me, first and foremost, before anyone else on the beach, and that’s the only way we’re gonna get through this, like, being in the position we wanna be in, utilizing this time here and taking advantage of what Paradise would promote together.”
Ahead of the controversial episode, Brendan and Pieper hit Instagram with posts that were deemed disrespectful. Pieper has since deleted the caption of her post, while Brendan has deleted his post entirely—which he explained in his apology.
