Cash Trapped confusion continues as fan says ‘day five and I still don’t get it’

Cash Trapped viewers still can't get to grips with the quiz show and have been venting the fury online.

Bradley Walsh's creation replaced The Chase on Monday and is set to stay on the air until next year.

Despite the show being on for almost a week now, fans are still confused by the rules.

One viewer tweeted: "Day 5 and I still don't get it. My brain is rejecting Cash Trapped"

While another wrote: "No, still don’t get it after 5 days. If I could find the remote I’d change the channel."

Some viewers felt that the rules were easy to follow however, with one saying: "I don’t understand how people can’t follow this show.

"It’s pretty basic. "

Other viewers have enjoyed the show's first week on air.

This is the fourth series of Cash Trapped, with the show's first broadcast back in 2016.

The show sees six contestants answer questions to build their cash pot and ultimately make it through to the final round and "escape" with their money.

Elaine was the lucky winner of tonight's show, taking home just under 21k.

However, fans noticed on Wednesday that the player has already been on The Chase.

One viewer said: "Who remembers when Elaine was on The Chase and she won £7,000 all on her own by beating the big fella in the final round?"

While another added: "I thought I recognised Elaine on Cash Trapped she was on The Chase and beat The Beast. Wtf."
