Celebs Go Dating fans were stunned as Wayne Lineker confessed he's never been with a someone over the age of 30.
The 58-year-old media personality has been open about his desires to date women decades younger than him.
Tonight was the second episode of the E4 series which sees an array of famous faces with sent to a mansion to find love.
Wayne was seen chatting to a stunning lady named Carla and the pair seemed to be hitting it off.
However, the businessman revealed he was concerned as she was 39, which is 'older than the girls he usually goes for'.
When speaking to Tom Zanetti, he said: "She's 39…I've never been out with a girl above thirty in my life".
Viewers went into meltdown on Twitter, as one wrote: "CARLA IS TOO OLD FOR WAYNE is he joking".
While another wrote: "When 58 year old Wayne Lineker says a 39 year old bird is a lot older than he normal goes for on Celebs Go Dating. Isn't great for his public image", with a laughing emoji.
A third penned: "Wayne Lineker, aged 58 said of his date – 'she's 39, so a bit older than the girls I usually go for' f***s sake."
