Chris Evans launches new Virgin Breakfast show with Love Actually and Uncle Buck-inspired sketches with sons Noah, 9, and Eli, 6

The DJ, 52, revealed it's "all hands on deck" ahead of the new show that will air on DAB Digital Radio from Monday, January 21.

In a short clip, Eli is confused as he watches his dad talking but can only hear static.

After fiddling with the digital radio, his dad's voice can be heard while Eli explains what you need to do if you want to listen to his "dad on the radio".

Meanwhile, Noah fires questions at his dad in a nod to the famous scene from Uncle Buck when Macaulay Culkin interrogates John Candy.

Finally the whole Evans family unite in a Love Actually-style scene with boards explaining how to access the Virgin Radio Breakfast Show.

Chris said yesterday that he'll feature his wife and kids in his new Virgin Radio breakfast show to help make it a success.

"To what extent will I involve my family in order to make the new show a hit? The answer is infinite. I’m sorry, that’s just the way it is," he said.

"It’s all hands on deck here, including the little ones.”

Chris and golfer Natasha welcomed twins Walt and Boo in September.

He also has daughter Jade, 33, from a previous relationship.

The star is returning to Virgin after almost two decades away from the brand.

The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio is available nationally on DAB digital radio, online at www.virginradio.co.uk and on mobile via the Virgin Radio app.

Virgin Radio is also available on Sky+, Sky Q and Freesat.
