Fans flooded Twitter with comments, shocked at the beloved character's use of language.
One said: "No, Ken Barlow did not say 'b******s'…. damn!!"
While another wrote: "Did Ken Barlow just say”load of b******s???"
A third typed: "Anyone just hear Ken Barlow on Corrie say "it's a load of b******s" before the 9pm watershed…"
