Coronation Street fans aghast as Ken Barlow swears in gobsmacking TV gaffe

Coronation Street fans couldn't believe their ears after Ken Barlow swore on tonight's episode.

Viewers went into meltdown as the character, played by Bill Roache, 87, let slip a rude word before the watershed.

Speaking to Norris about his new lavish retirement home, he asked his friend what he thought of the place.

Norris said: "She loves it here…"

Then fans were gobsmacked as Ken swore, saying to Norris: "But you think it's a load of b******s."

Fans flooded Twitter with comments, shocked at the beloved character's use of language.

One said: "No, Ken Barlow did not say 'b******s'…. damn!!"

While another wrote: "Did Ken Barlow just say”load of b******s???"

A third typed: "Anyone just hear Ken Barlow on Corrie say "it's a load of b******s" before the 9pm watershed…"
