Coronation Street fans convinced Steve McDonald has 'had hair transplant’ after spotting 'giveaway clue' | The Sun

CORONATION Street fans are convinced fan favourite character has had a hair transplant after pointing out rare ensemble.

Steve McDonald – played by Simon Gregson – was spotted wearing an unusual hair accessory during Monday's episode of the ITV soap.

Steve and Tracey Barlow (Kate Ford) have been worried about their daughter Amy after she was raped by Aaron Sanford (James Craven).

They praised their teenage daughter for going to Nina Lucas' (Mollie Gallagher) birthday party, as it was a big step for Amy who has being withdrawn since the incident.

Steve shared that he wants the old Amy back, but Tracey thinks it will take time.

However, viewers were left seriously distracted by Steve's atypical attire.

Taking to Twitter, one said: "#Corrie what's with Steve in a cap all episode, has he had a hair transplant?"

Another wrote: "When you come on Twitter to see why Steve in Corrie is wearing a baseball cap and find everyone asking the same. So it's either a bad hair cut, a hair transplant or a mid-life crisis #Corrie."

Also in the episode, Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) got revenge on Amy's rapist Aaron.

The shop assistant discovered the truth that Aaron did rape Amy when she was unconscious.

When Aadi confronted Aaron, he insisted that Amy was lying – and he carried on until Aadi pretended to believe him.

Pretending to understand Aaron, Aadi kept plying him with booze until he fell asleep in the flat where he raped Amy.

“Here we go,” Aadi said, pulling out a permanent marker.  “This is more like it.”

And then as Aaron slept unaware of what was happening to him, Aadi wrote the word “GUILTY” on his forehead.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8pm on ITV1.
