The landlady is livid with Johnny as he lends his shoulder to old flame Liz McDonald, leaving Jenny seething with rage.
Using the tracking app she installed on Liz’s phone, Jenny’s suspicions are raised as Johnny heads off to the brewery and Liz does a disappearing act.
Liz – played by Bev Callard – has actually received a call from the police about her con artist ex-husband Jim McDonald and his partner in crime Hannah Gilmore – and asks a reluctant Johnny to give her a lift to the station.
Checking the app, Jenny – Sally Ann Matthews – is appalled to see that Johnny and Liz are together and when he gets home, she furiously confronts him about it.
Plotting her revenge she holes herself up in a hotel room and is livid when she checks the app and finds Liz and Johnny are together again.
It’s all quite innocent as Liz is upset after finding out that Jim and Hannah are being released without charge, but try telling that to Jenny who is intent on drowning her sorrows.
She arrives home the next morning, hungover and an upset Johnny invites her for lunch.
Jenny tells him to sling his hook.
Later, knocking back wine and tracking Liz’s movements on the app, Jenny accidentally hits herself in the face with a cupboard.
She then hatches a plan as she logs onto an escort service. What is she plotting?
Johnny – Richard Hawley – is shocked by her black eye when he sees it but it’s not long before they are in the middle of a furious row about Johnny’s sympathy for Liz.
As they argue, drunk Jenny misses her footing and takes a horror fall down the stairs.
