Coronation Street’s Abi Franklin rushed to hospital in tragic child loss twist

Coronation Street's Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) has been dealing with the thought of her twins Charlie and Lexie leaving the country for good.

Abi had been trying to tell herself that it was for the best, however she was persuaded to try and say a final goodbye to them.

And it appears that it's that time next week, as Coronation Street spoilers reveal that she gets some good news.

Abi calls social services and is beyond thrilled when they tell her that she can see the twins – but disaster soon strikes.

She promises her older son Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) that she'll meet him later on so they can say their final goodbyes to little Charlie and Lexie.

At the mechanics, Kevin Webster (Michael le Vell) goes out to work on a breakdown, leaving Abi alone in the garage.

While she's working a car, the engine slips and leaves her arm trapped.

Elsewhere, Seb is desperately trying to get a hold of his mum, believing that she's let him and the twins down yet again.

Will Abi be able to make it to say goodbye in time?

Later on, Seb calls in at No13 looking for his mum, furious that she didn't end up turning up to say her goodbyes to her kids.

But he's left shocked to discover that she's been in a serious accident and ended up in hospital.

Will Abi recover quickly from her injury?

And will she be able to say goodbye to her youngest two children after all?

Abi had her kids taken away from her after she suffered an overdose back in 2017.

Since then, she has completely overhauled her life for the better and has become a staple on the cobbles.

Although she did end up in prison for a while and decided her kids were better off in care.
